Quick answer
Kora turns every request into a numbered ticket with a category, a priority and a status that moves from open to closed. Your whole team can comment and attach files, and owners, admins and managers can merge duplicates and update tickets in bulk. You pay $0.10 for each ticket created, and members are unlimited and free.

Every request has a number and a place

Tickets get sequential numbers, so a request is easy to find and quote. Categories come from a managed list, with Other always available, and priority runs from Low to Critical.

  • Sequential ticket numbers
  • Managed category list
  • Low, Medium, High and Critical priorities

The whole conversation on the ticket

Comments, attachments and reactions stay with the ticket, and an activity log records what changed and who changed it. Internal notes stay internal.

  • Eight statuses from Open to Reopened
  • Attachments and reactions
  • Activity log on every ticket

Cannot sign in on a new laptop

Signed in fine on my old machine. The new laptop shows an error after I enter my email.

  • EEmily Claimed this ticket and asked for a screenshot.
  • MMike Added an internal note: check the access group.

Activity log: status changed, owner set, comment added.

Tools for when volume grows

Owners, admins and managers can merge duplicate tickets into one and update many tickets at once, up to 100 per call through the API. Choose claim-based, assignment-based or auto-claim, depending on how your team works.

  • Merge duplicates
  • Bulk update (owners, admins, managers)
  • Three ways to pick up work

What is a ticketing system?

A ticketing system turns each incoming request into a record with an owner, a priority and a status, so nothing gets lost and the team can see what is open.

$0.10 (1 credit) for each ticket created, from any source. Nothing is charged when a ticket is resolved or closed.

Is Kora an issue tracker or a helpdesk?

Both. Teams use it for customer requests and for internal work such as IT, finance and product requests.

How many people can use one workspace?

As many as you need. Members are unlimited and free, and there is no seat count.

Priorities are Low, Medium, High and Critical. Statuses are Open, Assigned, In Progress, Waiting for User, Waiting for Team, Resolved, Closed and Reopened.

Can I merge duplicate tickets?

Yes. Owners, admins and managers can merge duplicates and bulk update tickets. Through the public API, bulk updates are capped at 100 tickets per call.
