Troubleshooting: the feedback prompt is not showing

If the feedback toast doesn't appear, the cause is almost always one of these. Work through them in order.

1. The script isn't loading

Open your browser's developer tools, then the Network tab, and look for the Iterato script from cdn.jsdelivr.net. If it's blocked or 404s:

• Check the <script> tag is inside <head>

• Check ad blockers or your Content Security Policy aren't blocking cdn.jsdelivr.net

• Try the unminified version linked in the docs to see clearer errors

2. init() wasn't called first

collect() only works after IteratoService.init() has resolved. Await it before triggering any prompt.

3. Wrong project or event ID

Copy the project_id and event_id straight from the dashboard. A typo fails silently.

4. The prompt timed out

The first prompt dismisses itself after first_prompt_timeout (6 seconds by default). Increase it if users need more time to notice.

5. Check the console

Look for errors logged by init(). The demo snippet logs "Service initiated successfully!" when everything works.
