How to install Iterato on your website in 2 steps

Updated Oct 6, 2026

Add one script tag to your page and call IteratoService.init() with your project ID. That's it: Iterato is live and ready to collect feedback, usually in under 5 minutes.

Before you start

  • An Iterato account (the Free plan works, no credit card needed)

  • Your project ID from the Iterato dashboard, for example project-5woc8

  • Access to edit the <head> of your website or web app

Step 1: Include the Iterato script

Add this tag to the <head> section of your HTML page:

<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/Iterato-ai/js@latest/1.0.min.js"></script>

Step 2: Initialise the service

Call IteratoService.init() once the page loads. It returns a promise that resolves to true on success.

(async function () {
  try {
    const ok = await IteratoService.init("project-5woc8");
    if (ok) console.log("Iterato is ready");
  } catch (err) {
    console.error("Iterato init failed:", err);
  }
})();

What next

  • Optionally attach who the user is with IteratoService.setUser()

  • Trigger your first feedback prompt with IteratoService.collect("your-event-id")

Still stuck?

Email founder@iterato.ai with your project ID and the page URL.
